So I have recently been following beauty blogger Farah Dhukai who is absolutely gorgeous and so sweet! She did a make up look that focused on Arabic eyes. Now living in Kuwait, Arabian girls the most beautiful eye makeup and I have no idea how they keep it intact throughout the day ( maybe secret trips to the restroom? lol) but my eye makeup tends to smudge by the end of the day.
Anyways, so yesterday I had a brunch date with my friend who is also a teacher in Kuwait. I thought why not experiment with Arabian Eyes?! When painting an Arabic style cat eye, it is really important to use a techniques you are comfortable with. I usually start mine from the middle and feather it slightly and then join together when I have achieved the thickness and precise line I want. Oh by the way, Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Rosegold is AMAZING! It is so soft and silky and dries like that too. Beautiful!
So below are a few photographs and a run down of the makeup products I used. Annoyingly I scraped my hair up in tousled bun as my hair wasn't curling as it usually does! #hairissues
