Procrastination leads to a blogpost :P

Eek! I haven't blogged in over a month and it is all down to my studies. I hardly used Facebook anymore. I should actually be writing an essay which is due in later this week but I have so far successfully avoided it - by having a nap, baking bread, doing my food shop and now on blogger :p Looks like I will be doing an all-nighter!

So what's been happening...? Well, I was back at uni for a month for lectures and seminars and I have just recently started my second teaching practice. I am now in upper KS2 where I am teaching a lovely class of Y5's :) I taught my first lesson on Friday and to my surprise I didn't feel nervous at all. I also received really good feedback - I've just got to keep it up :)
I also passed my second assignment which was a relief too as that was a killer assignment!

Haulage wise...well due to this year being quite tight as the bursary was cut for 2011/2012 PGCE trainees, I can't really splurge much. I have bought the odd few things recently which include Bourjois Delice Bronzing Powder ( which I love!) and Beauty UK Liquid Eyeliner and Bright Blue (haven't tried it on yet but swatched it and it's amazing!!) Nowadays the only haulage I do is when I feel I have earned it aka end of placement report/passing an assignment.

My mum came to visit my sister and I at the weekend and we had a lovely time in Kensington and also went to check out a photography exhibition at the Imperial War Museum. My mum treated me to a YSL Faux Cils Effect Mascara - instead of choosing black I had been on the hunt for a blue mascara and it really makes brown eyes pop, so I chose No3 Extreme Blue and it looks gorgeous on. My mum bought herself No4 Violet as she loves her plum colours.

Other than that, I have been busy working at the weekends. I actually have this week off as it is half term but it is pretty jam packed with assignments, planning and job applications!

I can't believe I am already more than half way through the course, I just really need to secure myself a job to pass my NQT year and then I will be super smiley :)

That's all for now... no pics sorry as I REALLY need to get on with this essay.
