A Makeup Ramble...

As of recently I have been using Makeup Alley aka MUA to swap some of my unloved/unused makeup. I have decided that if I have not touched any products within the last year that there is no point keeping them as I am unlikely to use them. So I have put a few things up for swap on MUA. I have actually done a lot of swapping and it has been so good so far...

I was a bit skeptical at first with swapping for slightly used products but it actually isn't so bad. I believe it is a great way for trying out things that you have been 'eyeing' or just plain curious about. I am enjoying the swapping experience so far and hope it continues to whilst I try and get rid of my unused makeup.

I recently acquired a BN Nars Blush in Madly (bronzed-rose) , MAC Jazzed Lipstick (orange toned coral), MAC Lychee Luxe (shimmery coral) and MAC Liquidlast Liner ( Olive/Khaki)...I am loving them all!

If you have any unloved makeup products then I really recommend becoming a member of
Makeup Alley :)

Lately I have been adopting the 'pop' of colour trend whilst ditching the black eyeliner I have been loving my Bobbi Brown Gel Liners in Denim Ink and Ivy. Lining your eyes with a colour that compliments your eye colour really does make a difference and I am in love with these two colours. I also had a recent hair cut and home dyed my hair an intense burgundy which I am diggin'...

I really want to get more Bobbi Brown Gel Liners especially, 'Espresso' and 'Jet Black' when my current Shu Uemura one runs out. I think Espresso will look really nice in the summer when I prefer to wear minimal makeup...

I have been using my MAC Margin Blush for the past month which I cannot get enough of - it is such an underrated colour and looks so dewy on my cheeks :) It has hit pan and I will be re-purchasing it a third time next month.

I have been trying to hard to refrain from purchasing any makeup ( I have good for over a month I think) although the last two items I bought were ones I had been swatching and eyeing for ages and finally decided to purchase them.

I bought Baked To Last Blush in Coral and the Baked To Last Eyeshadow in Moonstone such pretty colours :)
