Rated: The Body Shop Monoi Miracle Oil

Hello girlies...

I thought I would blog about this product as it is one of my much loved products from The Body Shop. I bought it a while ago now when I was university and I still have a quarter of  the bottle left! FYI: TBS have revamped the whole 'Spa Wisdom' range and the Monoi Miracle Oil is still available :)

I usually massage oil into my hair once a month. It is a practice I have been brought up doing since I was little. Whenever my sister and I used to go to my nan's house at the weekends, my nan would get out her bottle of oil..usually Olive oil from her wardrobe and she would massage it into our hair. We would then leave it overnight and wash it out the next day which used to leave our hair feeling really soft, silky and shiny. I have continued to do this as I have been growing up and it really does make a difference with maintaining my hair as it helps keep my locks looking healthy and lush. I always get compliments whenever I have use this in my hair :)

Although I am blogging about this particular oil you can use any oil suitable for use on your body/hair. If I am at home, my dad usually has Jasmine or Almond oil in the cupboard so I just use that but I do love the scent of this Monoi Oil...it smells divine.

Usually I prefer to leave the oil in my hair overnight as it really nourishes the scalp and ends, but I have had it in my hair since the early morning today and have washed it out already, as I want to curl my hair tonight.

I should probably do another blog about this but oh well...lately I have been using my Corioliss 'The Curler' Wand to create soft, tousled curls. I tend to use it the day after I have washed my hair so my hair is ready to go the next morning. I curl my hair in the evening, comb them through using my hands and sleep on them. In the morning the curls are much softer and natural looking and voila, less time to do my hair which means I should really be leaving the house on time :P  I will try to take a pic and post it on here soon.

I really needed to oil my hair as it is going be another few weeks before I get my haircut and my ends are looking really dry. Thankfully though my hair looks like it has been revitalised - it's really smooth and looks so healthy :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Anyway its done a great job and my hair isn't frizzy like it normally is, yay!

Oh you need to smell brahmi amla oil... think of really pungent incense, mendhi, and tumeric all rolled into one!! Its amazing for hair growth and softness though, my hair used to be quite thin towards the crown but it's slowly thickening up :)
